Stratus Village will open in two phases. Please see details below.
Phase 1- Opens approximately November 30th, 2025. The first phase will include the community building and two residential buildings with a total of 70 households.
Phase 2- Opens approximately March 31st 2026. The second phase includes the remaining two residential buildings with a total of 105 households.
Stratus Village is a low-income affordable housing project. All community members who meet the low income requirements for the property can apply to the wait list. Please review the tenant selection criteria on the website for details. Apartment homes will be rented from the property wait list based on the selection criteria.
The wait list for the property will be opening at 10:00 am on Monday, May 26th 2025. The property website will be updated with an "Applicant Login" link to register and apply to the wait list. Physical applications will not be accepted. Please contact the property management office for resources to compplete the online application.
No. Stratus Village is low-income housing, and does not provide subsidies to rent. Residents must qualify to live at Stratus Village based on their income, but their income does not adjust the rent amounts for the units. Please review the income and rent limit tab of the website for detailed information. Once the 2025 income limits are posted by HUD, the website will be updated.
No. The rent rate for the apartment homes are set based on the LIHTC rental limits and market condition. See the rent and Income page for maximum rent limits.
Your income is used to determine your eligibility to reside at Stratus Village, but does not determine the rental rate.
